#Stiles doesn’t move in with Derek in the usual sense #Derek suspects he’s been doing it slowly ever since they met #at first he dropped off a used couch #then it was a tv and a few movies #soon he was leaving clothes and sleeping over #or using Derek’s kitchen to cook dinners for the whole pack #but now several summers later he’s officially living with Derek #sleeping in the same room #fixing up the house #planting flowers in the yard much to Derek’s annoyance #because he’s trying now to read through some old books about wolf packs #when the heavy scent of lilies and gardenia wafts in through the open window and invades his nostrils #and all Derek wants is to go outside and stomp all over them #but when Stiles slips his arms around Derek’s neck and whispers in his ear that he should leave the research for later #Derek remembers the flowers make Stiles happy #so he lets Stiles drag him outside into the warm summer afternoon
